THE REDSKINS have released OF LERON LEE & promoted highly touted 20 yr old CF RICKY MANNING FROM AAA CLEVELAND. AT CLE in 30 games MANNING was hitting .316 with 9 stolen bases. LEE hit .167(24-4) with 1 homer. With current CF OSCAR GAMBLE struggling at the plate hitting just .186(97-18) it is expected MANNING will be given a shot at taking over in center.
